OUR ORIGIN
How Healing Hands came to be
At the age of 37, I was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal breast cancer. Unwilling to accept the diagnosis I began to embark on a path of self discovery and healing. I knew the diagnosis was a dis-ease in the body which stemmed from unhealed traumas and wounds that had been held in my body. I began researching Eastern modalities to heal not only my body but my mind and soul as well. My healing was going to be multi faceted and I vowed to heal myself from the inside out. Reiki allowed me to to release trapped energy and trace the root cause of the dis-ease in my body, which played a huge part of my healing. I beat the odds and made the decision to spend my time giving back and helping others in a similar situation heal the dis-ease in their body so they could live the life they were destined to live.
